1:24/1:35 New York - Posters from the maker ETA diorama brings New York posters and signs for diorama scenes in two scales.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory from the maker ETA diorama with New York motifs: posters and signs of the kind that belong to the streets of that city. The name gives the scales 1:24 and 1:35, so the accessory will serve an automotive vignette and a classic figure scene alike. It is not a kit of a building but a layer of lettering and printed matter that turns an anonymous street into a particular place.
A New York street is visually unmistakable: a dense layer of signs above the entrances, lettered roller shutters, advertising surfaces on firewalls and the markings of the subway and the taxi service. The viewer recognizes the city by these features sooner than by the architecture, and that is why this layer is so effective on a diorama. The reverse is true as well: a precisely built facade with not a single sign stays mere scenery, because it lacks what makes a real street different from the one next to it.
For builders of city scenes who want to place a street unambiguously in New York and complete it with readable text in the right size.
The accessory is intended to decorate a scene; buildings and vehicles are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
