A warning tape motif in 1:35 scale intended for dioramas from the time of the pandemic, from the ETA diorama brand. It divides the area into an accessible and a closed-off part, thereby telling the viewer where something happened, and at the same time it leads the eye to the place you want to give weight to. That is exactly why it pays to think its route through before the first end is fixed down.

Advice on stretching and shaping it

• Try the route dry first and only then fix the ends down
• Leave a slight sag in the middle; perfectly taut tape looks stiff
• Fold the ends over the posts and press them down so they hold once dry
• One torn section gives a scene movement and a sense of time passed
• Place a figure under the tape, so that it is clear the ban is in force
