1:72 Waffen SS WWII Zeltbahn - Early/Late Planetree 3/4 is an accessory for small dioramas representing a German tent section in the Planetree camouflage pattern in the basic rendering.
Responsibility details are not available.
A diorama accessory for 1:72 scale. The subject is the German Zeltbahn tent section in the Planetree pattern, that is the plane tree camouflage of the Waffen SS. Against the darker sibling in the same range, the name of this item carries no further specification of shade, so it is the basic rendering of the same pattern.
Camouflage patterns came into use with the German armed forces gradually, and the Waffen SS went ahead with them. Planetree camouflage is based on blurred patches imitating the play of light and shadow in the crowns of trees, and a modeler knows it from smocks and helmet covers too. The designations Early and Late in the name refer to versions from different periods of service, and the number 3/4 to a particular form of the pattern. It was precisely the alternation of a spring and an autumn key that made a single section usable gear all year round.
It is supplied on its own as an accessory for a scene. Vehicles, figures and paints are not in the package.
