This Decalcas accessory depicts New Jersey type barrier blocks, the dividing sections with the distinctive stepped profile that lifts a wheel riding onto it and steers the car back into its lane. The name gives two scales, 1:20 and 1:24, so the accessory serves both sizes of car model. It is not a kit of a car but equipment for a scene.
Concrete on a model is never a uniform gray. Keep the base lighter than you expect and add depth with a dark unifying coat that runs into the joints between the blocks. Rainwater stains, remnants of spray paint and a scuffed top edge tell one block from another. If you glue the blocks into a long line, leave slight gaps and differences in height between them, or the row looks like a single molded piece.
For modelers who build circuit, urban or road settings in the larger scales and want to give a model a solid frame without making molds by hand.
The blocks are supplied unpainted. Paints and glue are not in the package, unless stated otherwise.
