The BMW M8 GTE was a works endurance racer of the GTE class, derived from the production 8 Series coupe. From 2018 the brand entered it in endurance series in Europe and in the United States, in events that run for a whole day and night at a stretch. A front-mounted turbocharged V8, a widely flared body and a massive rear wing made it one of the most striking cars of its class. On a car like that the wheels are not an extra detail: together with the brakes they create the first impression a finished model makes in a display case.
Wash the parts before painting and let them dry out properly so that the shade holds well. The rim benefits from a two-stage approach: first the base tone over the whole surface, then an accent on the lip and the center fixing. Leave the tire flat; gloss looks out of place on racing rubber. Try the wheels in the arches dry before the final fixing, because the track and the offset differ between individual kits.
The paints, the glues and the kit of the car itself are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
