A set of tiny brake caliper bleed nipples in 1:20 scale. On a real car they serve to let the air out of the brake system, because compressible air in the lines means a soft pedal and, in a race, lost brakes. On a model it is one of those parts a plastic kit does not address at all, and yet it is clearly visible on an exposed caliper behind a wire wheel.
The parts are very tiny, so work with tweezers over a mat. Pre-drill a hole of the matching diameter in the caliper and set the nipple in with a drop of super glue. Paint after fitting: the caliper tends to be colored while the bleed nipple stays metal, and it is exactly that contrast that makes the effect. On a real car the nipple is also protected by a rubber cap, which can be suggested with a drop of dark paint on the head.
The set is an accessory, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
