A red tone from the color range of Number Five. The name leads to the single-seater designated Type 49C, that is to the last development form of one of the most famous Formula 1 cars of the late 1960s, whose livery rested on a combination of red, white and gold.
The Type 49 went down in history as a machine built around an engine that itself formed the load-bearing part of the structure. The version with the letter C took that concept to its final form: it received wider rims and reworked suspension for tires that had grown in the meantime, and it still raced in the 1970 season. Jochen Rindt won the race at Monaco with it that year, catching his rival in the closing laps.
Above all for builders of historic formula cars and for collectors who make models of cars from the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. It also works well on sports cars and on accessories for a pit scene. Next to gold and white surfaces it holds contrast particularly well.
The volume of the package, the kind of binder and the recommended thinning are on the label of the bottle. Keep it well closed out of the reach of children and ensure ventilation while working.
