Number Five 917K 1971 Silver is a silver paint ready for airbrushing, 30 ml, named after the Porsche 917K.
Responsibility details are not available.
A silver shade from an Italian paint range for airbrushing, in a thirty milliliter bottle. It comes in a consistency ready to spray, so all you need to do before use is stir the contents thoroughly. The shade is named after the endurance Porsche 917K in its 1971 season form, from the period when this type was among the fastest machines ever to start on a circuit.
Shake the bottle especially thoroughly and repeatedly, during the work as well, because in silver shades the metallic pigment settles faster than in ordinary paints and badly stirred paint leaves a dull patch. Spray in thin coats and onto as smooth a base as possible, because metallic shades emphasize every irregularity. The paint is solvent based, it does not thin with water, and for thinning and cleaning the airbrush use the thinner of the same brand. Apply it to plastic over a primer. Lay masking tape on a silver surface with care, as a metallic finish is easily pulled away.
For modelers of endurance and sports cars who work with an airbrush and need a metallic shade in painted quality.
Keep the paint out of the reach of children, away from open flame and in a well ventilated space. Close the bottle carefully after use.
