French Racing Blue is the classic blue that French racing cars wore for most of the twentieth century.
Responsibility details are not available.
The national racing blue of France from the numbered Number Five palette. The brand carries it as the classic shade that French teams used for most of the twentieth century, that is not as the color of one car but as the color of a whole motoring tradition.
Before racing cars were covered with advertising, their background was recognized by a national color: Italy ran in red, Britain in green, Germany in white and later silver, and France in blue. Under this blue ran the prewar cars of Bugatti, Delage and Talbot, after the war names such as Matra or Alpine followed on from it, and French projects like to return to it to this day. The shade has a deeper and calmer character than the bright sponsor blues of the later decades.
For modelers of historic racing cars who want a national color matching the tradition, and for collectors who put a display case together by country. It suits as well where there is no advertising on a car and the color of the body carries the whole expression of the model.
Storage: store in a dry place, well closed, out of the reach of children.
