Three-dimensional decals from the Kelik brand that will bring the cockpit of the Grumman A-6A carrier attack aircraft to life in 1:72 scale. Under the sizable canopy of the Intruder the two-man crew sits side by side, so unusually much of the instrument equipment is visible on a finished model, and that is exactly where this set aims. Kelik offers two separate interior sets for the A-6A in this scale, each shaped for a different kit; you will tell them apart by the maker of the kit, Fujimi.
The Grumman A-6 Intruder came about as a carrier attack aircraft of the US Navy capable of precise strikes in any weather and at night. The A-6A version carried a pioneering navigation and attack system and from the middle of the 1960s it took an intensive part in the fighting in Vietnam, where it flew from the decks of aircraft carriers as well as from land bases of the Marine Corps.
First give the side consoles and the panel a smooth coat, then settle the relief elements one by one and check their position against photographs of the real cockpit. Force the water out from under a decal with a gentle rolling motion of a swab, not by dragging. Close the cockpit up only after several days, when everything is a hundred percent cured.
