A metallic shade from the Gunze Mr.Color GX range. As the name Metal Peach suggests, it is a metal tone with a warm peach cast, a color aimed at pink and gold metals rather than at silver. It comes into its own wherever metal is meant to look warm: on copper and brass detail, on heat-stained exhausts or on a fantasy finish. It also serves well as an undertone beneath a thin layer of another metallic shade, which it lends warmth to.
Choose the thinner intended for this range and the thinning ratio according to the instructions stated by the manufacturer on the bottle's packaging. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, because the metallic pigment settles on the bottom. Spray in thin coats and rather from a greater distance, so that the pigment spreads evenly and does not form blotches. Work in a well ventilated area and with respiratory protection. Paint left standing in the cup thickens quickly, so mix only as much as you will use straight away.
A metallic paint forgives nothing: every scratch under it stays visible, so smooth the surface first and let a smooth gloss base dry. The finer the base, the finer the metal. Do not put masking tape on a fresh metallic surface, because it pulls it off easily; let it dry thoroughly first. A matte clear coat over a metallic finish knocks its sheen back, so use one only where the metal is meant to look dull.
The package holds one bottle of paint. After use wipe the thread of the bottle and close it firmly so that the paint inside does not dry out. Thinner, brushes and spraying equipment are not included, unless stated otherwise.
