This express masking set from Art Scale is intended for masking the glazed areas of the Airfix kit of the Gloster Meteor F.8 jet fighter of the Korean War period in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory that makes an even, sharp paint job on the canopy frames easier. The masks are double-sided, so they help with the inside as well as the outside of the glazing.
Lift the masks off the sheet carefully, lay them on clean, degreased glazing and press them down firmly along the edges. Apply the paint in thin coats, ideally with an airbrush, so that it does not creep under the edge of the mask. Once dry, remove the masks carefully.
This is an accessory. Paints, glue and a model of the aircraft are not included in the package.
