This item is a detail set of external stores, not an aircraft kit. It contains resin (3D printed) parts of the heavy American unguided Mk-84 bomb of the 2000 pound class, including the massive body, the tail fins and the suspension lugs. It serves to be hung on the pylons of models of combat aircraft.
The Mk-84 is the largest bomb of the basic Mark 80 series, weighing around 2000 pounds. It is used against hardened and large targets and it also forms the basis of heavy guided kits. It is carried by tactical fighter and attack aircraft of Western air forces.
Wash the parts and remove the supports from the 3D print. Paint the body of the bomb in aircraft gray or olive, add the marking bands and a panel wash. Separate the fins carefully and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Because of its size, the Mk-84 on the pylons changes the silhouette of an armed model considerably.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
