This is a resin (3D printed) set of the American 5 Inch FFAR unguided aircraft rocket in 1:48 scale from RESArm. It is not an aircraft kit but an external stores accessory. The FFAR (Folding-Fin Aircraft Rocket) is a postwar five-inch rocket with folding fins.
The FFAR with folding fins was used on American jet and propeller aircraft after the Second World War and in the Korean War. The folding fins opened only after launch, which made it possible to load the rocket into tube or rail launchers.
Wash the parts to remove print resin residue, cut them off the supports and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend fitting the rockets in an even row; the tips and the fins are delicate, so handle them carefully.
