This is a resin detail set in 1:48 scale, not a kit. It replaces or completes the cockpit structure (the frame and the structure around the pilot's compartment) of a model of the A-10 attack aircraft in both the A and C versions with a faithful cast replica with fine relief. The maker is Aires.
The A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American attack aircraft meant for close support of ground troops and for fighting armored vehicles, famous for its seven-barrel rotary cannon and its rugged structure. The cockpit and its frame are among the prominent features of a model, especially with the canopy open.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks carefully and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand with respiratory protection. It is best to paint and assemble the frame before you close the fuselage. Working with resin suits more experienced modelers.
