Eduard 1:48 A-1H LööK is a combined set for the cockpit of a Douglas A-1H Skyraider model in 1:48 scale — a colored resin instrument panel completed by pre-painted steel belts. It is not a kit.

The LööK range from the Czech company Eduard stands between separate belts and a full photo-etched set. It does not give the modeler flat etched sheet but a three-dimensional instrument panel cast or printed in resin, which is already finished in color, dials included, and it adds pre-painted steel restraint belts to it. The extent is deliberately small — everything is aimed at one place on the model, the space under the sliding canopy. Anyone who wants accessories for the exterior surfaces or for the landing gear bays will reach for a set from another range.
The Douglas A-1H Skyraider is a single-engined piston attack aircraft with a radial engine, long endurance over the target and a large number of pylons under the wing. It came about at the close of the Second World War and was still in service when jet machines were already flying around it. Its instrument panel is large and clearly visible under the glazing, so a three-dimensional version really does tell on a finished model.
The original plastic instrument panel from the kit has to be removed or sanded down so that the resin part falls into its place. Wash the resin in warm water with detergent and cut the casting block off with a saw. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Do not overspray the colored surface of the panel and do not cover it with adhesive tape — the printing is the whole added value of the part. Bend the steel belts over an edge and let them hang across the seat.
It is an accessory, not a model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package. Eduard makes sets of a broader extent for this subject as well; they are told apart by the exact designation of the particular range.
