A-6E Intruder VA-34 1:48 - kabuki masks, New Ware

This is a masking set, not an aircraft kit. The set from New Ware contains pre-cut self-adhesive masks from fine kabuki tape for the A-6E Intruder carrier-based attack aircraft in 1:48 scale, aimed at one specific finish and the markings of the American naval attack squadron VA-34. The masks let you spray the elements of the scheme in paint exactly along the outline, instead of applying decals or cutting tape laboriously. They are shaped for one specific kit of this type in this scale.

Use

• Degrease the parts before masking and let them dry, otherwise the mask will not hold.
• Lift the mask off the sheet with tweezers, seat it on the surface and press it down mainly around the edges.
• Spray the elements of the scheme from the lighter shades to the darker ones so that the edges stay clean.
• Always let the finish turn tacky between colors before you lay on the next mask.
• Take the masks off once the finish is tacky, not after it has cured completely.
