Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero Fighter Type 52 1:48 is a plastic kit of the famous Japanese carrier fighter from Hasegawa.
Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic kit in 1:48 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa captures the Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero fighter in the Type 52 version, known to the Allies as the Zeke. The kit offers finely engraved surface detail, a well-worked cockpit and clear canopy parts. Decals for period Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service markings are included.
The A6M Zero was the backbone of Japanese naval fighter aviation in the Second World War. The A6M5 Type 52 version arose in response to ever stronger opponents and brought modified wings and further refinements of the power plant and the armament. It was the most numerously produced variant of the Zero, deployed from land bases and from aircraft carriers in the Pacific war.
It is a good idea to paint and assemble the cockpit before closing the fuselage up. Use liquid cement for plastic and sand the joints carefully. For a faithful look, an airbrush, a good base under the decals and a gentle accenting of the panel lines all help. Masking makes the canopy frames easier.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
