1:48 Aces of the Legion Condor Part 4 (wet decals)

Condor Legion Aces Part 4, 1:48 (Print Scale)

A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from Print Scale, the fourth part of the series devoted to the aces of the German Condor Legion. It offers national insignia and personal aircraft markings from the period of the Spanish Civil War. It serves as an alternative or a supplement to the kit decals; the airplane model itself has to be bought separately.

The real subject

The Condor Legion was a German volunteer expeditionary force committed from 1936 to 1939 on the Nationalist side in the Spanish Civil War. Its fighter and bomber crews gained combat experience there and their machines carried a range of colorful emblems and insignia. These finishes are among the most striking and most collectible subjects.

Use and tips

Apply the decals over a smooth gloss clear coat, which prevents silvering. Dip the part briefly in lukewarm water and slide it off the backing onto its place once it has softened. We recommend using a decal softener and finally sealing the surface with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.

Who the set is for

• Builders of Spanish Civil War aircraft models in 1:48 scale
• Modelers interested in the history and markings of the Condor Legion
• Modelers looking for an alternative to the kit decals
• Collectors of aircraft markings

This is a set of waterslide decals, not an airplane model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
