SSW D.III seatbelts FABRIC 1:48 — a fabric set of seat belts from Eduard for a model of the German Siemens-Schuckert D.III fighter of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of seat belts from Eduard in 1:48 scale in the FABRIC version, made of a thin textile material complemented by photo-etched metal buckles. The belts are intended for the cockpit of the German Siemens-Schuckert D.III fighter of the First World War. The textile material bends naturally and faithfully reproduces the drape of the straps. This is not an airplane model but an accessory for the cockpit.
The Siemens-Schuckert D.III was a German single-seat fighter biplane from the end of the First World War, valued for its good rate of climb and its agility at high altitude. The pilot belts of machines of that time had simple fabric straps with metal buckles.
The fabric belts are cut to length and fitted into the open cockpit onto the pilot seat; the photo-etched metal buckles are attached according to the instructions. Thanks to the flexible material, the belts can be shaped into a realistic drape and bonded with super glue.
This is an accessory set of belts, not a stand-alone model. It requires the matching base kit, which is not included in the package.
