Armor-piercing 8.8 cm Pzgr.Patr.40/43 ammunition for the Kw.K.43 in 1:35 scale from Eureka XXL. A detail accessory for the hardware, not a model of a vehicle.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of artillery ammunition in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Eureka XXL. It is not a kit of a vehicle but a separate detail accessory: turned metal projectiles and long cases together with the resin parts of an ammunition crate. The set adds credible rounds to an interior, to open hatches or to a supply diorama. It is intended for more experienced modelers.
The Panzergranatpatrone 40/43 (Pzgr.Patr.40/43) was special armor-piercing ammunition of 8.8 cm caliber, of the APCR type with a hard core. It offered higher penetrating power at short range, but its production was limited by the shortage of strategic raw materials in the late phase of the war. It belonged to the range of the long 8.8 cm gun with the L/71 barrel, designated Kw.K.43 in tanks, which armed heavy German fighting vehicles, for example the Tiger II Ausf. B, the Jagdpanther, the Nashorn and the Elefant.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks away and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Polish the long brass cases, give the projectiles the appropriate color and a fine dust wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
