An electronics set for the AH-64D Apache in 1:48 scale, the first part adds to a model of this attack helicopter the equipment that a kit handles with no more than a hint.
Responsibility details are not available.
The item concentrates on the instrument and electronic equipment of the Apache and carries the ordinal number one in its name, so it forms the counterpart to the second package with the same focus. It is meant to be fitted into a model under construction, where it replaces or supplements the simplified plastic shapes. The helicopter itself is not included.
The Boeing AH-64D is a development stage of the Apache in which the main change took place inside the machine. It received substantially reworked avionics, a digital link between the systems and the ability to share target data with other helicopters in the group. The most striking external mark on a number of machines in this version is the cylindrical radar housing set above the main rotor head. It was precisely this shift to digital equipment that made the Apache a machine that is interesting under the panels as well.
Paint the small instrument parts separately and only fit them in place once they are finished, because otherwise you will not reach everywhere with a brush in the narrow spaces. Lay a covering base under the light surfaces first, so that they do not take on a blue cast from underneath. Pick out the cable bundles and the edges with drybrushing; the result then looks natural even under a lamp.
What you are buying is detailing equipment, not an unassembled or a finished machine.
