The third part of the decal series for the Alpha Jet E in 1:48 scale. A sheet with markings of the Belgian and French air forces.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet for a model of the two-seat Alpha Jet jet trainer and light attack aircraft in the E version. It carries markings of the Belgian and French air forces and is listed as the third part of the series. The previous parts have their own codes and are sold separately, so a collector can put the whole range of markings together step by step.
The sheet will be appreciated by a modeler who does not want to build the aircraft in the finish from the box. The Alpha Jet flew with two European air forces in many guises, and it is precisely the differences in markings that turn an ordinary kit into a model of a particular machine. The set also suits a collection where one Alpha Jet already stands and a second one is meant to look different.
Before you wet the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is an adhesive version; wetted adhesive film is ruined for good. Apply an ordinary waterslide decal over a smooth gloss varnish. Cut the element out close to the print, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it releases. Move it onto the model, line it up with a brush, blot the water away with a paper towel and let it dry. A decal softener will pull the decal into recessed lines. Seal the finished markings with a matte varnish.
The box holds a decal sheet. The model, paints, varnishes and decal softener are not included, unless stated otherwise.
