This set of the Eduard brand from the resin line brings a pair of AM-39 Exocet anti-ship guided missiles in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of an airplane but an accessory for the stores, with which you will arm a finished model of a carrier aircraft and make it more convincing. Besides the cast resin parts, photo-etched sheet and decals with technical stencils tend to be part of it.
The AM-39 Exocet is the air-launched version of the French anti-ship missile with a flat flight path just above the surface of the sea. It became known for its use from the deck of the Super Étendard machines and is among the best known Western anti-ship weapons. A number of naval and land-based aircraft of European design carry it.
First wash the parts clean of the remains of the mold release agent, carefully separate them from the casting blocks and glue them together with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. It pays off to lay on a primer before the varnish, and you will seat the decals with the stencils on a smooth gloss base.
This is a supplementary set, not a model in its own right. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
