This plastic kit from Hobby Boss captures the float version of the multirole Antonov An-2 biplane in 1:48 scale. The box holds plastic molded in gray and in clear, a detailed cockpit, the undercarriage with floats and a decal sheet with two marking options.
The Antonov An-2, NATO reporting name Colt, is a single-engine multirole biplane with a large radial engine and fabric-covered wings. The An-2W version is the water variant mounted on floats, intended for operation from water. The machine became known for its exceptional take-off and landing qualities and for its long service life in many countries.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Align the biplane layout and the set of struts patiently, and attach the floats so that the model stands straight. Accentuate the fabric surfaces with fine shading and even out the surface with an overcoat according to the gloss you want.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
