A resin and 3D-printed accessory set for experienced modelers from the Hungarian manufacturer SBS Model. It is not a model of an aircraft but a set of power units with cowlings for the B-17F/G bomber kit in its early form from HK Models in 1:48 scale.
The set contains four 3D-printed radial engines and cast resin cowlings. It replaces or completes the engine section of the kit with faithful detail and makes it possible to show the engines uncovered, as they tend to be presented during maintenance. A color instruction sheet is included.
Wash the parts to remove mold release agent and print resin residue, separate them from the casting blocks and the print supports and clean them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and wear respiratory protection while sanding. Never straighten printed or cast parts in boiling water; any warping can be corrected with gentle heat from a hair dryer.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
