A resin detail set for experienced modelers, not an airplane kit. The set replaces the exhaust nozzles of the Convair B-58 Hustler, the American supersonic strategic bomber, in 1:48 scale. The Hustler was a four-engine machine with its engines in nacelles under the wing, so its look is defined by the four prominent nozzles, and those are exactly what this set casts faithfully in resin.
The castings capture the inner structure and the depth of the nozzles with thin edges of a kind that plastic from the box usually cannot manage. Finely worked, open exhausts markedly raise the impression this large model makes. The set is shaped for the corresponding B-58 kit in this scale.
This is a resin detail set, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
