This accessory set contains a cast resin under-fuselage bomb rack and a British 500 pound aircraft bomb in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of the airplane but an accessory for the stores of Spitfire models built in the fighter-bomber role. It is made by the Czech brand Brengun.
Toward the end of the war, Spitfires were used more and more against ground targets as well. A British 500 pound bomb was hung under the fuselage on the appropriate rack, which turned a pure fighter into a fighter-bomber.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and clean the surfaces up with respiratory protection. The bomb shows to advantage once the bands and the stencils have been shaded. Bond everything with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
This is an accessory for the armament, not a model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
