A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Print Scale. It contains national insignia and markings for the British Boulton Paul Defiant fighter of the Second World War period. The decals are transferred onto a model with water (wet decals) and they serve as an alternative or an addition to the decals from the box. The kit itself has to be obtained separately.
The Boulton Paul Defiant was a British fighter of the Second World War with a characteristic rotating gun turret behind the pilot and with no fixed forward-firing armament. In daytime service it did not prove itself, but it found its place as a night fighter and in training and auxiliary roles with the RAF.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss clear coat, which prevents the silvering effect under the film. Cut the motif out, dip it briefly in lukewarm water and once it has softened slide it onto the surface of the model. Once dry, go over it with a matte or satin varnish; a decal softener helps it settle onto the detail.
