The late F-104 wheels differ from the early version in the shape of the rim and the tire, so it matters to choose the variant that matches the aircraft you are modeling. The castings carry a fine tread and a suggested flattening at the contact patch, which gives a standing model a natural look.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Do any sanding with respiratory protection. Spray the rims and the tires separately; the mask supplied makes a clean division of the colors easier.
This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
