The set 1:48 F-105 G Thunderchief, double-sided masks for the frames of the long cockpit for spraying outside and inside.
Responsibility details are not available.
Stencils for the framing of the two-seat canopy of the G version, cut for spraying from both sides of the glazing, 1:48 scale.
Against the single-seat machine, the two-seat Thunderchief has a considerably longer glazed section and a divided canopy over both seats. The rear station belonged to the electronic warfare operator and was full of instruments for finding transmitting radars. It was precisely because of that equipment that the nose was lengthened and the structure ahead of the cockpit altered, which shows on a model in the proportions of the fuselage. When you leave the cockpit open, it can be seen into from the side and from above, so the framing on the inner side counts as a full detail, not as a small thing nobody will see.
The order is fixed: the inner side in the cockpit shade first, and once it has cured, the outside with the camouflage finish. The long canopy has more straight stretches one after another, so take care that the edges sit parallel; a crooked frame shows far more on a long cockpit than on a short one. Go over with the paint lightly and lift the pieces off soon after it has set. Do not forget to treat the glass between the two seats either; on a finished model it is best visible in profile.
