F-15 open engine nozzles 1:48 is a resin and photo-etched set for building finely rendered exhaust nozzles of the F-15 fighter in the open position. Intended for the GWH or Revell kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Metallic Details is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory. It holds resin and photo-etched parts for building the exhaust nozzles of the twin-engine F-15 fighter in the open, that is the spread, position in 1:48 scale. Open nozzles match the state with the engine running on the ground and liven up the tail of the model considerably. The intended kits are GWH or Revell.
The McDonnell Douglas (Boeing) F-15 Eagle is an American twin-engine air superiority fighter. The nozzles of its afterburning jet engines change shape according to the regime; in the open position they reveal the characteristic inner petals.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Bend the photo-etched parts over an edge. Paint the inner surfaces of the nozzles in metallic and burnt shades and bring them out with a fine wash.
This is not a complete aircraft model but a detail accessory. The base GWH or Revell kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
