The set is cut to fit the SBD-3 plastic kit from Academy in 1:48 scale. The double-sided version masks the outside and the inside of the broken-up glazing.
The Douglas SBD Dauntless was an American carrier-based dive bomber that played a key part in the fighting in the Pacific, above all at Midway. The SBD-3 version has a long greenhouse canopy for a crew of two with a great many frames, and masking them by hand is slow work.
The set contains no paints and no model. It is an accessory to a plastic kit.
