A detail set of the exhaust nozzle for the F-16C Fighting Falcon fighter of the later blocks 30, 40, 50 and 60 in 1:48 scale from Aires. The resin accessory replaces the simplified exhaust end from a plastic kit with a faithfully detailed nozzle with a fine structure of the outer as well as the inner petals.
The F-16C is a single-seat multirole fighter whose later production blocks differed in their engine, avionics and equipment. It was precisely the different powerplant that showed in the shape and the diameter of the exhaust nozzle, and this set takes that into account for the blocks 30 to 60 named here.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue. The inside of the nozzle comes into its own once painted in metal shades, with graded toning and the petals picked out gently. Check which block you are building so that the shape of the nozzle matches.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
