1:48 F-4 E/EJ/G Phantom II - a masking set for the landing gear bays, adapted to the kit from Hasegawa.
Responsibility details are not available.
An aid for spraying the inner landing gear bays of the late Phantom versions. The cut matches the kit from Hasegawa; an otherwise identically named item is cut for another maker's kit, so look at which box you have at home before you choose.
The E form became by far the most numerous variant of the whole line and served with a number of foreign users from Europe through the Middle East to East Asia. The cannon built into the forward fuselage removed the main weakness of the earlier versions, which had to rely on guided missiles alone in close combat. The letter G then marks machines converted for hunting ground radars, fitted with equipment for determining the direction and the nature of a transmission. The letter J in the EJ designation points to the East Asian user that built the type at home under license.
Older toolings tend to have shallower and smoother bays than the newest kits, so the masks hold easily, but check that they sit down in the corners all the same. If you plan to dirty the bay, do it after uncovering, otherwise an unnaturally clean strip appears around the edge. Start the removal with the largest piece.
