The reduced version of the 3D printed interior decals for the F-4E in the late configuration without the DMAS system, 1:48 scale. Cut for the Meng kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A pre-colored decal with raised relief in a narrower scope than the full set. It is applied with water onto a smooth gloss surface and replaces painting the instrument faces. The set is aimed at the late configuration of the aircraft without the digital modular avionics designated by the abbreviation DMAS, and it is cut for the Meng kit in 1:48 scale.
Interior decals handle surfaces, not three-dimensional parts, so they are commonly combined with ejection seats and with belts from other sets. The order matters: first the decals on the panels, then flat varnish, and only at the end the seats. Fit the belts at the very end, because while shaping them it is easy to catch the edge of a fresh decal. If you repaint the seats, do it outside the cockpit and set them into the interior finished. If the edge of a decal does lift, settle it with a drop of water and let it dry again; do not use a decal softener or setter, they will attack the printed resin.
The F-4E is a two-seat jet fighter in which the equipment of both cockpits changed during service. Sets are therefore made separately for early machines, for late machines without the upgraded avionics and for machines with it. This set belongs to the middle group.
