The 3D-printed drag chute for the F-4E Phantom II in 1:48 scale from Eduard shows the parachute deployed and gives the model the dynamic look of a landing run.
Responsibility details are not available.
This Eduard set contains a 3D-printed resin drag chute in the deployed state for the model of the American F-4E Phantom II fighter in 1:48 scale. It is a striking detail accessory, not an aircraft kit; it lets you show the aircraft during its landing rollout.
On the Phantom the drag chute was streamed after touchdown and shortened the braking distance considerably. A deployed parachute behind the tail of the aircraft is a rewarding element both in dioramas and on display models.
The parts are printed directly and go together easily. Separate them carefully from the print supports, clean them up and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The set is complemented by fine photo-etched parts, which call for careful work.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints and glue are not included in the package.
