The instrument panel for the F-86A Sabre in 1:48, the LööK range from Eduard helps lift the look of the cockpit of the first production Sabre quickly.
Responsibility details are not available.
The cockpit of a jet fighter is clearly visible under the sliding canopy, and a plastic panel with molded dials usually sells it short. The LööK range deals with that shortcoming through a finished color part that goes into the model in place of the original. This is an accessory, not a kit; the aircraft has to be obtained separately.
The A version was the opening production rendition of a type that went down in history as the first American swept-wing fighter in widespread service. It entered the inventory at the close of the 1940s and was soon sent to Korea, where it met an equally famous opponent of Soviet design. It was a contest in which training and tactics decided as much as technical figures. Later variants received a modified wing, a more powerful engine and new gunsights, so the A version remains linked among collectors with the very beginning of the whole family.
Try it dry first and take material away wherever the part seats with resistance. Avoid pressure, or the colored surface will be damaged. Dose the glue sparingly and leave the model to rest a while before you start closing the cockpit with the transparent parts.
What exactly is in the package cannot be read from the name, so the scope is not stated here.
