About product

AMMO ATOM Color IDF Sand Grey 1973 — Acrylic Paint

This is a water-thinnable acrylic from the ATOM range, in a 20 ml bottle. The shade IDF Sand Grey is the sandy gray color of Israeli ground equipment from the 1973 period. The paint is non-toxic and odorless, covers well, self-levels into a smooth film, and dries quickly. It is applied with a brush and an airbrush, and thinned with water or acrylic thinner.

Use

  • Shake the paint thoroughly before use.
  • For an airbrush, thin it with acrylic thinner to a suitable consistency; for a brush, it can also be applied directly.
  • Apply onto a clean, degreased and ideally primed surface.
  • The dried film is durable and tolerates further coats, washes and decals.

Who the Paint Is For

It suits modelers building Israeli armored equipment of this period. This is a covering paint, not a varnish or a weathering product.

Store the paint out of the reach of children, ventilate while spraying and use respiratory protection.
