1:48 F4U Corsair: wheels with a ribbed tread is a resin set of wheels for a kit in 1:48 scale that you have already bought. It is not a model but an accessory with one particular tread pattern.

A set cast in modeling resin by the Czech maker Brengun. It is intended for replacing the wheels on a model you already have. The key point is the treatment of the tread mentioned in the name: this variant has a ribbed tread, that is lengthwise grooves. The manufacturer offers wheels for the same airplane in several tread patterns, so you choose according to the particular machine you are building, and that is precisely what sets this set apart from the others.
Tires differed on machines of the same type according to the manufacturer, the period and, in practice, according to what was available at the unit. The most reliable way is to find a photograph of the particular airplane with the wheel well visible and compare the pattern. If you are building a model with no tie to a particular machine, choose the pattern according to the period that interests you. The advantage of resin is that the grooves stay sharp: with injected plastic the parting line of the mold runs straight across the tread, and sanding the seam out always loses part of the pattern.
Wash the parts in warm water with dish soap so that the release agent disappears. Cut the casting block off with a saw and level the seating surface on abrasive paper laid on glass; sand wet and with breathing protection. First fit the wheel dry and check whether it seats on the axle, as it is sometimes enough to open the hole out slightly. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The painting is quickly managed: first the whole wheel in dark gray, then mask the hub with a circular mask and overspray. Finally dust the lower part of the tire lightly with pigment according to the environment in which the machine operated.
