The F/A-18 Hornet is an American twin-engine carrier-borne multirole fighter that handles both air combat and attacks on ground targets. The F/A-18C version is the single-seat form of the so-called legacy Hornet (as opposed to the later and larger Super Hornet). It serves with the US Navy and the Marine Corps and with a number of other users; it is valued for its reliability and its wide range of uses.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and the clear parts with cyanoacrylate. Paint the cockpit and the instrument panel before you close the fuselage; the canopy can be built open and protected with a mask during spraying. Fit the external stores and the tanks only after painting. A primer and an airbrush are recommended; modern gray camouflage comes out well after a light emphasis of the panels with a wash and a slight graying of the transitions.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
