The F-22A Raptor is an American supersonic fifth-generation aircraft with features for reduced radar visibility and the ability to fly supersonically without using the afterburner. The landing gear bays are among the places that markedly draw attention on a finished scale model, because they show the internal structure of the airframe.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The bays come into their own once painted in a base color, with the edges picked out gently and a dark shade run into the recesses.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory for a kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
