A cast resin engine cowling from the Quickboost brand for a plastic model of the Fairchild AU-23A aircraft in 1:48 scale. The aftermarket accessory replaces the factory part with a version of more correct shape and finer detail.
The Fairchild AU-23A Peacemaker was an American license-built version of the light Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter STOL aircraft with a turboprop engine. It came about as a multirole machine for support and observation tasks and it was marked by its ability to take off and land in a short distance.
Wash the part free of mold release agent, separate the casting block and clean up the mating surface. Glue with super glue, fill any gaps with putty and sand them over.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft model. The kit itself and the glue are not included in the package.
