The Fairey Firefly Mk.I is a plastic kit of the British carrier-based aircraft in 1:48 scale from Special Hobby.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Fairey Firefly carrier-based fighter and reconnaissance aircraft in the Mk.I version from the Czech brand Special Hobby. The model in 1:48 scale offers fine surface detail and a decal sheet with period naval markings. Given the type of mold, it is a kit for more experienced modelers.
The Fairey Firefly was a British two-seat carrier-based aircraft that combined the roles of fighter and reconnaissance machine with the Fleet Air Arm. The Mk.I version was among the initial forms and carried the characteristic radiators in the leading edge of the wing. The machines served during the Second World War and in the postwar period as well.
Separate the parts from the sprues and glue them with cement for plastic; expect the more careful fitting typical of this type of mold. Assemble and paint the cockpit before closing the fuselage. A gloss clear coat under the decals ensures the markings go on cleanly. For the paintwork use period British naval schemes in shades of dark gray and gray-blue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
