A resin fuel vent for the Folland Gnat T.1 jet trainer in 1:48 scale - a detail set, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A small resin set of the fuel vent for the British Folland Gnat T.1 jet trainer in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail set that replaces a simplified or missing plastic part with an accurate casting. Although it is a small item, it is clearly visible on a finished model and raises its realism. The manufacturer is the Quickboost range of the Czech studio Aires.
The Folland Gnat was a British light jet aircraft of the 1950s; the two-seat T.1 training version served with the Royal Air Force as an advanced trainer and also became famous for the displays of the Red Arrows aerobatic team. It was a small, agile machine with a characteristic aerodynamic shape.
Wash the part free of the release agent, separate it from the casting block and clean it up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding resin. It is advisable to secure a small part before cutting it from the block, so that it does not fly off.
The set does not contain the aircraft model itself; it serves as an accessory to a matching kit. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
