This is a photo-etched set of safety belts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but an add-on for a model you already have. The STEEL designation in the name refers to Eduard's steel line of belts: steel is stronger and more malleable than soft materials, so a shaped curve holds and the belt looks as if it really hung over the seat. In the glazed cockpit of a transport aircraft a detail like that is clearly visible.
The Gotha Go 244 was the powered variant of the Go 242 cargo glider. It kept its twin tail booms and the capacious cargo fuselage with an opening rear, but thanks to a pair of radial engines it managed without a tug aircraft. It entered service in 1942, served mainly in the Mediterranean and over North Africa, and it quickly turned out to be too slow for use in threatened airspace. The Luftwaffe therefore withdrew it from the front line and went on using it in rear areas.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface, not by twisting. Shape the bends and curves with smooth-jawed tweezers over a soft support, so that the belt takes a flowing curve instead of a sharp fold. Super glue in a minimal amount or a glue that dries clear will manage the attaching. It pays to work over a surface from which a dropped part can be picked up again, and to have a magnifier at hand.
