Responsibility details are not available.
This decal set from the brand Model Maker in 1:48 scale is intended for a model of the F-16C in the markings of the Greek fighter squadron 341 Mira. It is a decal sheet, not a kit. Check the contents of the sheet, the number of schemes and its size against the illustration on the packaging.
The F-16C is the single-seat version of the single-engined multirole fighter, with its characteristic frameless bubble canopy. The Greek Air Force operates this type in considerable numbers and divides it among several fighter squadrons; the word mira is Greek for squadron. The markings of the individual units differ in the emblems on the fin and in additional legends, which is why separate decal sheets are issued for the type.
A decal behaves only as well as the surface beneath it. Once the painting is finished, let the coat cure properly for several days, polish away any dust specks with a very fine abrasive and spray the whole area with a gloss clear varnish. The gloss has to be smooth and closed, free of grain; otherwise air will be trapped under the carrier film. Before applying, trim the surplus carrier film around the motif as closely as possible, dip the decal in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it stand on a paper towel until it can be moved off its backing. Transfer it to the model onto a drop of water, so it can be adjusted into the right position, and only then press the water out with a soft cloth from the center toward the edges.
This is an accessory set, not a kit. The base model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
