1:48 Harrier GR.1/GR.3 Early is a set of pre-colored 3D printed interior elements on decal paper in the smaller version. It is applied like a decal and replaces the flat cockpit details from the kit. Target kit: Kinetic.

This item is not a kit and not a spare part for one. These are 3D printed interior elements, colored in production, printed on decal paper and transferred into an assembled cockpit exactly like a conventional decal. The name designates it as the smaller version of the set, that is a narrower selection of elements than the full variant. The set is cut to shape for the Kinetic kit, so make sure before buying that it matches yours.
Photo-etch is flat metal that has to be bent, glued with super glue and finally painted by hand. These elements have both relief and color already finished, so masking tiny dials and picking out individual buttons with a brush are no longer needed. The result is a legible instrument panel and side consoles even on a model that ends up closed under the glazing with little view inside.
First sand the surface the element will go onto perfectly smooth and go over it with gloss varnish. On a flat surface air will be trapped under the decal and a milky veil will appear. Release the element in lukewarm water, set it in place and blot up the excess water with a cloth or a cotton bud. Do not use a decal softener or setter; the manufacturer prohibits them on these sets, as the chemistry will attack the three-dimensional layer. Once completely dry, blend the surface with a flat or semi-gloss clear coat so that the gloss underneath is not visible.
This is an add-on to a kit, not an aircraft model. The basic Kinetic kit, paints, clear coats and glue are not included in the package.
