Quickboost 1:48 Hawker Hurricane Mk. I exhausts – early type is a resin replacement part for refining a model of the British fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
These are resin replacement exhausts for building the British Hawker Hurricane fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model but a small detail part from Quickboost that replaces the exhausts from the base kit with a more faithfully cast replacement with hollowed openings. The part is intended for the early Mk. I versions.
The Hawker Hurricane was a single-seat fighter powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine. Together with the Spitfire it carried the main burden of the defense of the islands during the Battle of Britain in 1940. The early aircraft had characteristic short exhaust stubs, which this set captures exactly.
Before gluing, wash the parts to remove mold release residue from the mold. Separate them from the casting block carefully with a saw or a knife and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection, because resin dust is very fine.
This is an accessory for refining a plastic kit, not a standalone model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
