An Eduard Big Ed collective package in 1:48 scale for a model of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc fighter. The accessories for one model together in one box.
Responsibility details are not available.
Alongside the Spitfire, the Hurricane was the second pillar of the British fighter defense, and in the Battle of Britain it shot down more machines than any other type. Its airframe rested on a tube frame with fabric covering over the rear of the fuselage, which looked old-fashioned but stood up to hits and was easy to repair. The Mk.IIc version carried four 20 mm cannons in the wing and was therefore suited to night patrols as well as to attacks on ground targets.
Big Ed is a collective package from Eduard that brings together the accessories for one model, so you do not have to hunt them down one at a time. This one is intended for the Hurricane Mk.IIc in 1:48 scale. The exact list of what is in the box is given by the manufacturer; from it you will also see which kit the package assumes.
Divide the work up by the individual parts and do not start gluing before you have gone through all the enclosed instructions. If the parts are not polystyrene, glue for plastic models will not join them: reach for super glue, and for larger areas for epoxy. Before painting, wash and degrease the surfaces and lay a thin coat of primer under them. Keep the small features in a dish, so that they do not vanish from the bench.
The package is aimed at a modeler who wants to take one model into detail and does not intend to choose between the individual sets. The contents of the delivery follow the information from the manufacturer; the kit, paints and glue are not in the package, unless stated otherwise.
